This house had good bones and fifty years of patch-up jobs on top of them. The owners wanted a home that worked for modern family life without losing the 1970s character they had bought it for.
Over 22 weeks we rewired and re-plumbed the whole house, re-roofed it with proper heat insulation, and reworked the ground floor to create an open kitchen and dining space. At the same time we restored what makes the house special: the original terrazzo floors, the breeze-block wall in the stairwell and the timber louvred windows that let the house breathe.
One project manager ran the job from start to finish, with a weekly site meeting and a WhatsApp photo update, so the owners always knew exactly where things stood.
